New Employment Partner for Charles Russell

Charles Russell is delighted to announce that Robert Mecrate-Butcher, previously a partner at Pinsent Masons, has joined as a Partner in our highly rated Employment & Pensions team.

Bob is particularly experienced in advising clients in the insurance and financial services sector which complements Charles Russell's own 'City' employer focused practice.

He has particular expertise in relation to TUPE, equality and diversity issues, executive departures, bonus issues and the enforcement of restrictive covenants. Bob is also experienced in advising financial institution clients in defending and avoiding reputational risk claims including discrimination and whistleblowing.
