Research for Chambers UK 2013 Directory has now finished and we have been notified that 74 partners and solicitors have been listed as 'Leaders in their Field' in 86 categories (some are in two categories) in the directory will be published in October 2012. This is up on the 69 we had listed last year and is a record for the firm.
'Leaders in their Field' rankings are awarded by the researchers on the basis of feedback from our referees, the work the individual has been handling (as shown in our submission) and feedback from peers (in other law firms).
Partners Bart Peerless and Suzanne Marriott were being recognised in the inaugural Legal Week International Trusts and Private Client elite guide. Out of nearly 1000 nominations the list of 100, covering UK & Europe, US, Asia and Barristers, were singled out by their peers as being the top of their field in a voting system.

21 Charles Russell partners and Consultants from the Charity, Private Client, Family, Contentious Trusts, Landed Estates and Property practices have been highlighted as Leaders in The Citywealth Leaders List 2012, placing Charles Russell in the top three law firms in the publication.

Each year the Citywealth Magic Circle Awards brings together the elite of advisers in the Private Wealth sector as well as being an established event for philanthropists and the Ultra High Net Worth readership of Citywealth magazine.
Charles Russell has been named one of Private Client Practitioner’s Top 25 Law Firms 2012 by Private Client Practitioner magazine. Private Client Practitioner is a leading website and magazine publisher targeted at meeting the information needs of those involved in the creation and preservation of private wealth. The aim of this ranking is to identify, recognise, introduce and promote the Top 25 Private Client Law Firms. Approximately 125 private client law firms were surveyed and the Top 25 is based on data received on areas such as number of partners, number of fee earners, total number of staff and total fee income. Charles Russell was awarded the prize for the Best Contribution by a Law Firm at the 2011 LawWorks Pro Bono Awards.
