Charles Russell is shortlisted for Legal Team of the Year in the STEP Awards 2010. The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) is the most highly regarded professional body for practitioners in the field of trusts and estates. Their coveted annual awards are recognised as a badge of excellence for private client solicitors/attorneys, accountants, barristers, bankers, trust managers and financial advisors.
Chambers UK 2010: Top Ranked Firm
Charles Russell is 'Top Ranked' by Chambers Legal Directory. Chambers speak to a vast range of lawyers and their clients (ie commercial users of legal services) through an annual research programme. All interviews carried out by them are conducted purely for research purposes and are entirely confidential and un-attributed. Law firms are assessed through criteria including technical legal ability, professional conduct, client service, commercial astuteness, diligence, commitment, and other qualities most valued by the client. Chambers then ranks law firms based upon the findings of this research.
Private Client Practitioner: Top 25 Law Firm
Charles Russell has been included by Private Client Practitioner magazine, a publication for those involved in the creation and preservation of private wealth, as one of the top 25 private client law firms. This ranking recognises the largest and most successful legal practices in the private client world, describing them as "leading examples in the field of specialist private client legal practice.
RollOnFriday’s Firm of the Year survey
Despite being an unofficial survey, more than 2,000 readers took part, making it a real ‘voice of the people’ award!
There is no official submission to be made and no interview with the Managing Partner…but we’re delighted to learn that Charles Russell made it into the top ten in the RollOnFriday Firm of the Year survey 2008, coming in at number eight.
For those that don’t know it, RollOnFriday is a website which provides news,views and gossip on the legal profession and is avidly read by many in the legal community.
Best Companies Star Accreditation
A random selection of employees of the firm were surveyed in 2008 and, based on the feedback we received, we were delighted to be awarded a first class, one star rating.
The Best Companies Accreditation follows the elite ‘Michelin style’ star rating system for organisations that demonstrate high levels of employee engagement.
Charles Russell has been successful in achieving ‘Star Status’ with the Best Companies Accreditation 2009 project.
Sunday Times 100 Best Companies
Charles Russell has, for the first time, been included in the Top 100 Mid sized companies in the 2009 Sunday Times 100 Best Companies To Work For survey, coming in 92nd overall.
The annual survey employs a methodology that identifies workplace performance and best practice according to eight key factors. These factors are particularly significant as they are defined through the results from the survey process, and therefore by employees themselves, as critical factors in workplace engagement.
Questionnaires are sent to a random selection of employees from across each company, in which they are asked to judge their company’s leadership, teamwork, work/life balance, pay and benefits, training and career development and social responsibility.
