Environment

We recognise that the environmental performance of the firm is essential to its continuing success. Our policy is to minimise the environmental impact of our activities. We are committed to educating and training our employees in the importance of environmental issues and the effects of our activities.

We monitor our progress and review our environmental performance on a quarterly basis.

By 2010, our targets are:

  • To have reduced our carbon footprint
  • To reduce our use of paper by 50%
  • To work with staff to create individual ‘green action plans’ for everyone

Our move to our new London office gave us the opportunity to build in a number of environment initiatives:

The building has been awarded a good Energy Performance rating of 'B’ from the Carbon Trust.

Our new stationery and business cards are all Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) approved, and are sourced from a combination of recycled material and managed sustainable forestry.

The building features an automated energy saving lighting system which is sensitive to both natural daylight and motion.

We have designated recycling areas on each floor where we encourage the recycling of all paper, tin, glass, recyclable plastic and packaging.

Where possible office cleaning products are environmentally friendly.

All the tea, coffee and hot chocolate vending in the building are Fair Trade and the disposable cups recyclable.
