Charles Russell sends a London Partner to Bahrain to head up its Property Acquisition Department for Middle East clients

1 May 2008

Pervaze Ahmed has moved to Charles Russell's Bahrain office to act as a single point of contact for Middle Eastern clients wishing to buy property in the UK, particularly Prime Central London.

Pervaze has a roving brief across the Gulf Region and will provide on the spot advice on buying, selling and letting property in the UK. Pervaze, who has practised as property solicitor for several years, has extensive experience of the London residential market and working for international high net worth clients.

It can be difficult, if not impossible to find property in London without professional help. The best properties are often sold "off market" by word of mouth and new build properties are increasingly being sold off plan. In 2007, Charles Russell's Private Property Team transacted in excess of £1.5 billion on behalf of private clients, offshore trusts, family offices and property companies.

Charles Russell’s close-knit team of property and legal professionals provide a unique combination of complementary services, namely: property acquisition, advice on residential property issues, property conveyancing and tax, trust and succession planning.

Charles Russell's Director of Property Acquisition, Richard Crosthwaite, says, "There has been great demand for our services among Middle Eastern clients who seek properties in Prime Central London for occupation and investment. We are delighted that Pervaze will be able to provide an immediate and personal service to our fast growing international client base, while the London based team scour the market for properties that match their requirements."
