CR-Assure - A service for in-house counsel

CR-Assure offers a virtual in-house counsel service, linking you and our lawyers via an extranet system.

We understand that the role of in-house counsel is demanding. There is a need to focus on strategic, large-scale and business critical legal matters, which can at times of pressure or temporary reduced staff mean that day-to-day business contracts don't get the time or attention that they deserve.

To address these pressure points we have developed CR-Assure, a work-flow system which will provide you with rapid access to high-quality, commercial legal advice.

What is it?
CR-Assure links you to a team of Charles Russell lawyers via an online secure extranet system.

How does it work?
The system alerts our team of experienced lawyers that a document or instruction has been uploaded and one of the team is assigned the instruction. For standard commercial contracts, the team will return a revised document with commentary via the system within 24-48 hours (or earlier if necessary).  The process will at all times be supervised by a partner.

Who will undertake the work?
A partner is responsible for assigning tasks and supervising all work.  We always ensure the most appropriate lawyers, in terms of their experience and expertise, are assigned to each matter.

What does it cost?
Use of CR-Assure itself is free.  We would be happy to discuss fee models for legal work carried out through CR-Assure with you.
